this easy vegan Nutella truffle recipe has become my favourite treat! It is healthy, easy to make and satisfies those Nutella cravings. Here is how you make it. I used a food processor to blend everything.
1 cup Hazelnuts (roasted to blend better)
1/2 cup Medjool Dates
1/4 cup Coconut Oil
1 Pinch of Salt
2 tbsp. Liquid vanilla
1/4 Raw Cacao Powder
4 tbsp. Maple Syrup
Mix the hazelnuts first so you have a nut-paste. Then add all other ingredients and blend until smooth. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours so the oil hardens and you can form the truffles easily. Now form little balls and coat them with cacao powder. Keep them in the fridge, so they stay in shape.
Makes approximately 17 truffles.
